Pokemon Legends: Z-A Launches Ranked Battles Season 13 - June 24 to July 15, 2026

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. PDT, Pokémon Legends: Z‑A will open its newest competitive chapter: Ranked Battles Season 13. The season runs until July 15, 2026 at 6:59 p.m. PDT, giving players a 21‑day window to fight in four‑player, real‑time online battles against trainers worldwide.

At the start of the season, every participant begins at Rank Z and can climb to Rank A by earning points in each match. The ranking system rewards players in three ways: a battle reward after every match, a promotion reward when a new rank is achieved, and a season reward based on the final rank at the end of the season. Promotion rewards include Mega Stones—Greninjite, Delphoxite, Chesnaughtite, Baxcalibrite, Sceptilite, Swampertite, and Blazikenite—available for Ranks Y through S.

Eligibility for Season 13 is limited to Pokémon listed in the Lumiose Pokédex numbers 001–227 and the Hyperspace Pokédex numbers 001–112. Trainers may register Pokémon from Level 1 to Level 100, but all will be set to Level 50 during battles. Teams may contain only one Pokémon per Pokédex number, and duplicate held items are prohibited.

Season rewards vary by final rank: • Rank A: three Gold Bottle Caps, five Bottle Caps, three Seed of Mastery items, and one Big Nugget. • Ranks B–E: two Gold Bottle Caps, three Bottle Caps, two Seed of Mastery items, and two Nuggets. • Ranks F–I: one Gold Bottle Cap, two Bottle Caps, one Seed of Mastery, and two Nuggets. • Ranks J–M: one Bottle Cap, one Seed of Mastery, and two Nuggets. • Ranks N–R: one Seed of Mastery and one Nugget. • Ranks S and below: one Nugget.

To begin a Ranked Battle, launch Pokémon Legends: Z‑A, press the X button to open the main menu, select Link Play, and then choose Ranked Battles. Players must log at least one match during the season to qualify for season rewards.

After the season ends, trainers can claim their season rewards by launching the game, opening the main menu with the X button, selecting Link Play, and then Ranked Battles.

Pokémon Legends: Z‑A, released on October 16, 2025 for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, is the sequel to Pokémon Legends: Arceus and the second entry in the Legends sub‑series. Set in the Kalos region’s Lumiose City five years after Pokémon X and Y, the game replaced the previous VGC format with a real‑time competitive experience that has attracted a large online community.

Season 13 follows Season 12, which ran from May 15 to June 5, 2026, and continues the series’ tradition of offering new Mega Stone rewards and tiered season prizes. The Pokémon Company highlighted the season’s structure and rewards on its official website, encouraging trainers to test their skills and earn valuable items.

In summary, Pokémon Legends: Z‑A’s Ranked Battles Season 13 provides a 21‑day competitive window, a clear progression path from Rank Z to Rank A, and a structured rewards system that includes battle, promotion, and season prizes. Trainers who participate can earn Mega Stones, Bottle Caps, Seed of Mastery items, and Nuggets, with the highest rewards available to those who reach Rank A. The season’s launch on June 24, 2026, marks the next chapter in the game’s ongoing competitive scene, inviting players worldwide to engage in real‑time battles and vie for the season’s top prizes.
