Border Brouhaha Celebrity Softball Game Returns to ABC Supply Stadium on July 19

On Sunday, July 19, the Beloit community will host its second‑year Border Brouhaha Celebrity Softball Game at 3 p.m. in ABC Supply Stadium, the home of the Beloit Sky Carp. The event will bring former Green Bay Packers stars, Olympic champions, local celebrities and community leaders together for a family‑friendly afternoon.

All revenue from the game—ticket sales, concessions and merchandise—will be donated to Make‑A‑Wish Wisconsin, the state branch of the national nonprofit that grants wishes to children with life‑threatening illnesses. According to the organization’s website, it has granted more than 9,000 wishes since 1984.

The 2026 roster includes former Packers kicker Mason Crosby, wide‑receiver Jordy Nelson and defensive end Ahman Green. Olympic gold‑medalist Bonnie Blair will also take the field. Other players feature University of Illinois running back Ca’lil Valentine, philanthropist and Border Brouhaha co‑host Molly Crosby, business and community leader Jeff Budzien, Wisconsin State Representative Rob Valcq, project manager Pete Woodkey of Corporate Contractors Inc. (CCI) and television personality Mike “Jocko” Jacques.

The game is produced by TEAM LAMMI, a Milwaukee‑based sports marketing and entertainment agency that has worked with the Sky Carp on previous community events. TEAM LAMMI describes the Border Brouhaha as one of the region’s premier summer events, blending sports, entertainment and community spirit.

Tickets are available through the Sky Carp website (skycarp.com) or by calling the ticket office at 608‑362‑2272. The venue offers VIP packages, suites and group rates; the box office can be contacted directly for special requests.

ABC Supply Stadium opened in 2021 and replaced Harry C. Pohlman Field as the Sky Carp’s home. The ballpark seats roughly 5,000 and serves as the High‑A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.

Make‑A‑Wish Wisconsin has partnered with the Border Brouhaha since its inception. The organization’s mission is to grant life‑changing wishes for children aged 2½ to 18 who are living with critical illnesses. The partnership has helped raise funds for wish fulfillment and community outreach.

The 2026 game follows the 2025 edition, which took place on July 27. The previous year’s event featured a star‑packed lineup that included former Packers legend Mason Crosby and other local figures. The 2026 schedule mirrors the 2025 timing—3 p.m. on the same field.

Local media coverage highlights the event’s community impact. The Beloit Sky Carp’s official site lists the game as a highlight of the summer season and encourages residents to attend.

In addition to the softball match, the event will include family entertainment and opportunities for attendees to meet the players and local leaders. The focus on philanthropy is emphasized by the fact that all ticket sales and concessions will be directed to Make‑A‑Wish Wisconsin.

The Border Brouhaha is part of a broader trend of sports‑based charity events in the Midwest. Similar events have been organized by minor‑league teams across the region, often in partnership with local nonprofits.

Organizers expect the game to draw fans of all ages. The event is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased online or at the box office.

The 2026 Border Brouhaha Celebrity Softball Game is scheduled for July 19 at ABC Supply Stadium. Ticket sales and event details are available through the Sky Carp website and phone. All proceeds will benefit Make‑A‑Wish Wisconsin.
