Antoni Porowski Launches New National Geographic Travel Series "Best of the World"

Antoni Porowski, the charismatic food connoisseur who helped launch Netflix’s Queer Eye, is trading his kitchen apron for a passport. On June 7, 2026, the 42‑year‑old will debut a four‑part travel documentary on National Geographic titled Best of the World with Antoni Porowski. The series airs at 9 p.m. Eastern on the Nat Geo channel and will stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.

Porowski’s television résumé spans more than a decade. After a decade‑long run on Queer Eye, he concluded the show in January 2026 and then led Nat Geo’s 2025 travel series No Taste Like Home with Antoni Porowski. The new program builds on National Geographic’s long‑running Best of the World rankings and follows Porowski as he investigates what makes a destination truly special.

The four‑episode slate takes viewers to Paris, Mexico City, London and New York City. In each episode he visits iconic landmarks, discovers hidden culinary gems and speaks with locals who shape the character of each city. The trailer shows him touring Big Ben’s Great Clock, sampling cheese‑making techniques at Quatrehomme in Paris, drifting through a dreamscape at Mexico City’s Quetzalcoatl’s Nest, and handing out medals at the finish line of the New York City Marathon. He also visits spas and wellness centers, often shown in a sleeveless tank top.

A recurring visual motif is Porowski’s frequent pool scenes. The trailer features him swimming in a luxury hotel pool in Paris, a rooftop pool overlooking London’s skyline, and a morning dip in a New York City hotel pool. These shots underscore the host’s culinary curiosity and his willingness to immerse himself in local culture.

In a statement, Porowski said, “Travel has always been my way of understanding the world – and myself.” The series is positioned as a continuation of that philosophy, with the host seeking to uncover the stories behind the places he visits.

Beyond television, Porowski remains active in brand partnerships. He has appeared in advertising campaigns for Peroni, the Canadian grocery chain Loblaws and the underwear brand SAXX. He and his boyfriend, personal trainer Zacharias Niedzwiecki, have also featured together in ads for DoorDash and Boss. While the show’s trailer does not indicate a cameo from Niedzwiecki, the couple’s public partnership has been noted by media outlets.

Best of the World is part of National Geographic’s broader Best of the World franchise, which has produced a series of travel and lifestyle programs for the network. The series’ release schedule follows a pattern common to Nat Geo: a television premiere on the network, followed by a day‑later streaming release on Disney+ and Hulu.

The show’s launch comes after the conclusion of Porowski’s long‑running role on Queer Eye and follows his 2025 Nat Geo series. It marks a return to the travel‑documentary format that has been a hallmark of his career. Viewers who followed his previous work can expect a blend of culinary exploration, cultural insight and personal reflection.

At present, the series is scheduled to air on June 7, 2026, with all four episodes available the next day on Disney+ and Hulu. No further episodes or seasons have been announced.
