Wall of Entertainment and Chronicle Media Partner to Use AI for U.S. Audience Growth of New YouTube Game Shows

On July 14, 2026, UK digital studio Wall of Entertainment (WOE) and AI‑driven audience platform Chronicle Media unveiled a multi‑series partnership that will harness Chronicle’s simulation models to pinpoint and expand organic audiences for WOE’s debut U.S. offerings, “Substitute Teacher” and “House Rules.” The two shows are slated to premiere on July 16 and will stream on Tubi in the United States, while the alliance seeks to boost YouTube and broader social‑media viewership by zeroing in on niche segments aligned with each creator’s fan base.

Chronicle’s AI platform generates simulations of tens of thousands of niche audience segments, enabling the discovery of the most sizable fan bases on YouTube. The company claims the system delivers end‑to‑end campaign management and channel optimization, automatically extending reach and boosting organic traffic across YouTube and other social channels. CEO and co‑founder Aaron Sisto told the press that the platform “helps creators find those viewers, grow them and keep them coming back.” The partnership will deploy these capabilities on the two influencer‑led game shows, with the goal of sustaining audience engagement and driving regular episode viewership.

‘Substitute Teacher’ is a character‑driven comedy game show that fuses sketch comedy, youth culture, and competition. Set inside a high‑school classroom, the series pits four contestants—DangMattSmith (31.1 million followers), HeyTonyTV (4.8 million followers), Nia Ivy (1.5 million followers) and Lauren Ashley Beck (600 k followers)—against one another in trivia and physical challenges, with the ultimate prize of being named class valedictorian. Wade, Ascott, Jonny Paterson and Charles Brockman III serve as executive producers, and Wade and Ascott co‑direct all four episodes.

‘House Rules’ places two couples in competition to prove who can best navigate household life. The format features four high‑stakes rounds that mimic everyday domestic challenges. Executive producers include Wade, Ascott, Paterson and Laro Benz, who has 37 million followers and 15.4 billion views and is celebrated for humor, authenticity and storytelling about family life and fatherhood. Wade and Ascott co‑direct all four episodes.

Industry observers point out that AI‑based audience simulation shortens the time and cuts costs associated with audience discovery. By modeling thousands of demographic and behavioral variables, Chronicle’s platform can recommend tailored content strategies and promotional placements that resonate with target segments. For WOE, this focus allows the studio to allocate marketing resources toward audiences most inclined to engage with its game‑show formats, potentially boosting return on investment for both production and advertising partners.

Founded in 2011 by actors Joivan Wade and Percelle Ascott, Wall of Entertainment has produced more than 1,000 episodes and amassed over 12 billion digital views, including 700 million long‑form YouTube views. The studio earned the TellyCast Awards Studio of the Year in 2025 and the JP Morgan/Powerful Media Business of the Year in 2024. WOE announced its first U.S. expansion in late 2025, appointing Jonny Paterson to head U.S. operations. Partners include BBC, Channel 4, Sky, Netflix, Amazon and Tubi, and the studio is represented by WME.

Founded in 2025, Chronicle Media is backed by investors such as Patron, Point72 Ventures, Z Ventures and Sands Capital. The San Francisco‑based firm maintains offices in Los Angeles, New York and London. Its AI platform employs frontier audience‑simulation models to uncover fan bases across social media, and it provides channel management, content optimization, conversion tracking and return‑on‑advertising‑spend monitoring. Chronicle’s partner list includes Simple Alien, CC0 Studios and The Hive Studio.

The partnership will see WOE debut “Substitute Teacher” and “House Rules” on July 16, 2026, on Tubi and YouTube. Chronicle’s AI‑driven audience targeting should pinpoint the most receptive segments for the creator‑led formats, potentially boosting organic viewership and engagement. The collaboration advances WOE’s U.S. expansion agenda and showcases Chronicle’s capacity to scale creator audiences across platforms.
